Gesundheitsschutz unserer Besucher

Health protection for our visitors

The Arbeitsschutz Aktuell with EXPO and CONFERENCE is your unique meeting place within the industry! And this is becoming increasingly important, especially during this current crisis. A variety of our exhibitors have signalled the importance on meeting the industrial safety-community and their customers in person in the future. For these, and many other reasons we go ahead with our planning for Arbeitsschutz Aktuell this year.

However, the health of all participants and flexible implementation solutions are always our top priority. In order to provide the best possible protection for all trade fair participants, a catalogue and concept of measures has been defined based on the recommendations of the Robert Koch Institute. These will be implemented at Arbeitsschutz Aktuell in coordination with Landesmesse Stuttgart and the responsible health authorities.

Trade fairs differ significantly from other forms of events, particularly in terms of their duration and the distribution of visitors in the exhibition area. Controlling the density of visitors is the decisive key to protecting visitors. By taking appropriate measures, all trade fair participants should be able to continue to pursue their trade fair objectives and experience a safe and healthy stay at Arbeitsschutz Aktuell at the same time.

The following measures are envisaged in order to comply with the current recommendations:

1.Online Registration only and no ticket sales on site

Visitors can only register for Arbeitsschutz Aktuell in advance of the event via the Arbeitsschutz Aktuell Online-Ticket Shop.

Please note that the tickets offered are only valid for one or more specific days of the trade fair, depending on the type of ticket. It is still possible to attend the event on several days. However, in the case of the “3-Day Ticket Trade Fair”, the desired event days must be specified when booking.

In order to avoid crowds of people registering in the entrance area, there will be no ticket sales on site.

2. Full registration of all participants

In accordance with the requirements of Robert Koch Institute for tracking contact persons, all Arbeitsschutz Aktuell participants are subject to a registration obligation. This means that all essential personal data must be provided during the online registration process. This applies both to visitors of the EXPO and the participants of the CONFERENCE as well as the exhibitors, media representatives, stand constructors and all other service partners.

3. Crowd management to direct the flow of visitors

In order to avoid physical contacts during the admission phase of Arbeitsschutz Aktuell, the number of people will be reduced by measures such as admission time corridors for exhibitors and visitors, contactless entrance via turnstiles, etc.

4. Comprehensive hygiene measures

Hand disinfection dispensers will be set up throughout the entire Arbeitsschutz Aktuell area accessible to the public. In order to minimise contact points during visitor guidance as far as possible, doors will be made contactlessly passable as far as possible. In addition, comprehensive disinfection measures are carried out at regular intervals in all areas with increased, direct physical contact with objects or surfaces (e.g. sanitary facilities, door handles, catering areas).

It is recommended to wear a mouth and nose protector. The mouth and nose protector may be removed for discussions at the exhibition stand (standing or sitting) or at your seat in the congress or forum.

5. Distance at counters

For all counters (e.g. information desk, press centre, wardrobe, etc.), glass or plastic panes will be used as partitions or "spit protection".

6. Contactless payment

In all service areas (e.g. catering, cloakroom), contactless payment is generally set up by Landesmesse Stuttgart‘s service providers.

7. Relocation of service areas

Catering facilities will be located on outdoor areas as far as possible. In order to reduce the length of stay at catering stations, to-go offers will be issued. All service partners comply with the valid hygiene and industry standards of the gastronomy.

8. Prohibition of the “Treff am Abend”, other events

The holding of a stand party or similar side events at Arbeitsschutz Aktuell is prohibited this year.

We ask you to bear in mind that the lively development of the pandemic does not allow reliable predictions and that we always must use a status quo as a planning standard. Nevertheless, we are in an intensive and permanent exchange with Landesmesse Stuttgart and the local authorities. Any developments are taken up by us immediately and will be implemented into our security concept. The Arbeitsschutz Aktuell team is always at your disposal for your suggestions and concerns.

Status as of 25 June 2020
